\\ VENUE
Whats De Craic will take place on the grounds of North Kildare Club, Kilcock Road, between the towns of Maynooth and Kilcock, Co. Kildare. The Eircode for the club is W23 NR2F.

\\ PARKING
Parking will be available on the grounds of North Kildare Club. The carpark is right beside the festival grounds. Standard car parking is free. Campervan/caravan parking will require a camping pass.
Parking will open at the same time as the festival gates, at 5pm on Saturday 31st May 2025.
\\ PUBLIC TRANSPORT
By train: Maynooth is serviced by the Irish Rail Dublin Connolly - Sligo service.
By bus: Maynooth is serviced by the Dublin Bus 66, 66, 66x, and 67n services.
The Bus Éireann 115 route Dublin-Mullingar goes via the Kilcock Road. The closest stop to North Kildare Club is Kilcock (Millerstown), which is a 10-15min walk away from the entrance to North Kildare Club.
From midnight, the Dublin Bus C6 route goes from Maynooth Station to Ringsend Road - info about that route can be found at this link.

\\ SHUTTLE BUS
Beginning from 12am (midnight) each night, there will be shuttle bus services operating from the North Kildare Club grounds to Maynooth, and Kilcock. There will be a cost of €5 for this shuttle service (tbc for 2025).
\\ TICKETING
There are single-day, and two-day (weekend) tickets available for Whats De Craic 2025.
Single-day tickets are only valid for the day written on the ticket, i.e. one of Saturday 31st May 2025, or Sunday 1st June 2025.
Two-day Weekend tickets are valid for both days as written on the ticket, i.e. both Saturday 31st May 2025, and Sunday 1st June 2025.
Tickets are available online on ticketstop.live and from our authorised dealers (to be announced). If purchased online, tickets will be emailed to the email address given by the buyer and will be exchanged at the gates of the festival for a festival wristband. Physical tickets will also be exchanged at the gates of the festival for a festival wristband.
Issues with purchasing tickets online should be directed to the TicketStop.live support team. Please note that we have no control over additional booking fees that may apply.
Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or transferred in any way unless the event has been cancelled or rescheduled.
Tickets are the same price for each attendee regardless of age, with the exception of:

\\ CHILDRENS TICKETS
Children aged 12 or younger may attend Whats De Craic free of charge on condition that they must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times. Tickets will be converted to wristbands at the gate of the festival, and must be worn by all patrons for the full duration of the festival.
\\ CARERS TICKETS
For every ticketed patron who requires a carer, we can offer a staff wristband for the carer at point of entry free of charge. If possible, please let us know in advance via our email address whatsdecraicfestival@gmail.com you require a carers wristband (for wristband planning purposes).
\\ TICKET AVAILABILITY ON SITE
With the exception of the festival selling out, there will be a box office on-site with tickets on sale. To guarantee entry, we do not recommend waiting to purchase until the day of the festival. To ensure a ticket, we recommend to purchase your ticket in advance of the festival.
\\ CAMPING
While we cannot accommodate tent camping, campervans will be welcome at Whats De Craic for an additional fee.
Campervan Permits are available to purchase for a single day, or for the weekend.
Single-Day campervan tickets will be exchanged at the main gate for a Single-Day Camping Permit.
Two-Day campervan tickets will be exchanged at the main gate for a Two-Day Camping Permit.
Weekend campervan tickets will be exchanged at the main gate for a Weekend Camping Permit.
IMPORTANT: Purchasing a Camping Ticket does not give you access to the festival grounds - the Camping Ticket is not a Festival Ticket. All attendees at Whats De Craic must have a valid festival ticket. The Camping Ticket is an additional requirement for those who wish to bring their campervan on the North Kildare Club grounds.
Camper Parking will open at the same time as the festival gates, at 5pm on Saturday 31st May 2025.
\\ CAMPING FACILITIES
North Kildare Club has fresh water available, toilets in the clubhouse, bins/waste facilities, and security will be in place throughout the festival and throughout Saturday and Sunday nights, into Monday morning. Showers will be available outside of festival hours, i.e. they will unavailable after 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
\\ BRINGING YOUR DOG
Dogs are not allowed onto the festival grounds. Dogs are permitted to be in campervans/caravans in the carpark if you have a campervan pass, but must be locked in securely in the campervan/caravan when patrons are in the festival grounds.
\\ WRISTBANDS
Tickets will be exchanged for wristbands upon entry at the festival. Wristbands are valid for both nights of the festival and must remain untampered.
IMPORTANT: If a wristband is damaged or broken it will be deemed to be invalid and re-entry to the festival will be denied.
\\ SECURITY
A full security team will be in place at the festival. We ensure a safe environment for the attendees of Whats De Craic. Members of the security team will have full authority to remove any attendee who they deem unfit to enter and/or remain on site. There will be a security checkpoint at the entry point to the festival where attendees will be checked for forbidden items.
\\ ENTRY
The entry point to the festival is the main entrance to North Kildare Club.
Your ticket does not guarantee entry to the festival. If a member of the security team deems a ticket holder to be unfit to enter, entry to the festival will be denied. The right to refuse admission is reserved.
PLEASE NOTE: Persons aged under 18 (i.e. aged 17 or younger) with valid tickets will be allowed entry to Whats De Craic ONLY when accompanied by an adult (18+). Access to the grounds without an accompanying adult is not permitted.
\\ VENDORS
There will be a selection of vendors with stalls on site offering a range of refreshments, food, drinks, and snacks.
\\ ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
There will be a bar on-site. ID will be required to purchase alcoholic beverages. The consumption of alcoholic drinks not sold on-site is not permitted. This also applies to the carpark area. Attendees who attempt to bring in their own alcoholic drinks will have them confiscated at the point of entry.
\\ INFORMATION POINT
There will be an information point on-site to aid festival attendees with queries. This point will also operate as a Lost & Found.
\\ SEATING
Guests are welcome to bring their own camping chairs to the festival. There will also be a limited amount of seating provided by the festival available in the festival grounds.
\\ ACCESSIBILITY
Whats De Craic & North Kildare Club are making every effort to ensure that attendees of reduced and/or limited mobility, as well as those with additional needs, can enjoy the festival to the fullest extent.
There will be parking spaces available for those with additional needs on a first-come-first-served basis. The festival is wheelchair-accessible, with the carpark, entrance to the grounds, and the grounds themselves all being on flat ground. We will also have a have a dedicated area for disabled attendees which will be raised and railed.
\\ ENVIRONMENT
Whats De Craic is committed to being environmentally-conscious in all matters relating to the festival.
\\ THESE ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED
The festival has a zero tolerance policy towards the consumption of alcohol not purchased on-site, any and all other illegal items, materials, and substances. Attendees found in violation of this policy will be removed from the grounds of the festival immediately.
